beauty picks

I thought I would share a few fun beauty finds that I'm enjoying.

1.  Sugar Crush Body Scrub:  Smells amazing!  This is a thicker body scrub, not like a fine sugar scrub (I do love those too!).  Leaves your skin feeling smooth and fresh.  You can find it here.

2.  Sugar Crush Fresh & Foamy Body Wash:  I use it with the body scrub, same amazing scent!  You can find it here.

3.  Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara:  I found this at Ulta.  I picked up the smaller size (there's an area by the check out that has samples of larger products, that area got me in about expensive samples!).  I think I will definitely purchase the larger size.  It really does catch every lash!  You can find it here.

4.  Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream:  This was in my last birchbox and I love it!  I have super sensitive skin and I was pleasantly surprised by this product.  It's rich and creamy and leaves your skin feeling amazing!  It is quite pricey though.  You can find it here.

no bake avalanche cookies

I saw this recipe link on facebook, no-bake avalanche cookies, this sounds interesting.  Only 5 ingredients?  WHAT?  They are super easy and strangely addictive and what else am I going to do with 10 inches of snow outside?!

I found the recipe here, but there are several variations you can google.

1/2 cup of chocolate chips (the original says mini but I didn't have any hand)
2 cups of rice krispies cereal (I would add a bit more)
16 ounces vanilla candy coating
1 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows
15 ounces of creamy peanut butter

You'll also need 1 or 2 trays lined with parchment paper.

1.  Melt the candy coating according to the directions.

2.  Stir in the peanut butter.
3.  Pour the mixture over the rice krispies and stir.
Side Note:  The original recipe says to freeze the chocolate chips before mixing (I guess to help them from melting when you combine everything).  I did freeze them a bit, not very long though and they were fine.

4.  Let the mixture cool a bit and add the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
5.  Scoop out onto the parchment lined trays and refrigerate.  The yield amount will vary with how big you make them.

6.  Enjoy!

It's my birthday month!  This is a pretty BIG year too...the magical 40 is happening next week.  Isn't 40 the new 30?  I actually have no problem turning 40, my motto for the year is fabulous & 40.

I wanted to create a fun print for all my party gals, I think Party Girl says it perfectly.

Just click on the image below for the download.
This free print will only be available until March 6th, so grab it while you can!

By the way that adorable party giraffe is from the Oh Joy at Target.  I didn't know I needed a giraffe until I saw it...of course that happens a lot at Target.
