Summer, First Grade, Disney

I know I know...it's been ages since I've posted.

We had a relaxing summer and my son has been in first grade a little over a month now.  He still doesn't like doing homework but then again who does?  I don't think he's ever going to be that kid that loves school.  He's doing really well and we're so proud of him but he'd much rather be playing with Legos.  His teacher seems nice, this is her first year at the school and first year teaching I believe.  He hasn't had too many complaints besides the homework and still only one recess.  :)

In September we spent an amazing week at Disney World and Legoland.  It was my first time there so it was exciting for me and my son and the hubsters too.  Somehow we managed to see all four major parks in three days and drove down to Legoland for an additional day.  We saw the Fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom, had breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian Resort and of course rode countless rides and sweated buckets.  Even though it was September it was still quite humid and even rainy on days but we made the best of it.  Precious memories that made every cent spent worth it!

I still need to share pictures of my son's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles birthday party...coming soon I promise!
